My journey started at a very young age with having the newspaper sun-sign horoscope read to me by my mom. After a time, I was able to read them for myself. One day I made the shocking discovery that all the planets were involved in astrological judgments. So at age 13, I taught myself how to cast a chart by hand.

 

This began my lifelong interest in astrology and astrological traditions. I remained an amateur western astrologer studying with various teachers until the mid-1990s, when I was exposed to Indian (Vedic) astrology, and after a few years decided to make a mid-life career switch to become a professional astrologer.

 

Today I practice astrology in San Diego, California USA and all over the world via Zoom. I offer Indian (Vedic) astrology readings, mentorship, and teaching to those seeking guidance in matters of career, relationship, family, & life purpose.

 

I have a BA in Anthropology, Psychology, and Religious Studies from the University of Colorado and a Master’s Degree in Eastern and Western Traditions: History and Transmission of Astrology from Kepler College. I am a graduate of the American College of Vedic Astrology and hold the titles of Jyotish Kovid from the Council of Vedic Astrology, and Jyotish Medha Shree from the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences.

In addition, I have studied Modern Astrology with Helena Elizabeth Ruhnau, Hellenistic astrology with Demetra George and Robert Schmidt, Medieval astrology with Robert Zoller, and Renaissance astrology with Lee Lehman.

 

Along my journey I’ve served as President of Kepler College, and served on the national boards of CVA and ISAR, and local boards of NCGR and the San Diego Astrological Society. I’m a lifetime member of CVA, AFA, ISAR, NCGR and OPA.  

 

I love astrology and eagerly serve the Jyotir Vidya (Goddess/Knowledge of Astrology).
